Estimator: Full time opportunity exists for a Tiling Estimator to join a tile supply and install company in Sydney’s south west.The role will involves:
Reviewing and measuring plans and relevant documents to complete quantity estimating for pricing and installation purposes.
Estimating project cost, quoting jobs including supply materials and labour.
Understanding the scope of works to be completed and identifying discrepancies and liaising with our clients and builders.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will also be working with all other departments of the organisation, along with builders and tilers.
The role requires an eye for detail and the ability to handle change as it occurs.
A successful candidate would ideally have: A strong mathematical aptitude Be well organised. Capacity to read and interpret building plans and specifications. Able to work with accuracy and precision. High level computer skills. Capability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and see tasks through to completion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Positive and motivated attitude with a can do approach. Be able to work Saturdays on a regular basis. Similar experience in either building or tiling estimation would be an advantage.This is a full time role and salary will be commensurate to your experience.
